Of course, those posters said other things as well like, "At ND we don't need to recruit, the recruits come to us." and "We don't need turf, it's fine like it is."
Same for the training table, stadium construction, locker rooms, joining a conference, etc. Ahh, the good ole days.

Unless you're sitting in the south end zone. You'll really have to crane your neck to see it.

What am I missing here? The images I've seen make it appear the jumbotron is plainly visible from everywhere in the stadium -- except the south end zone -- and even there, all you'll have to do is turn your head.
At the scrimmage a couple of weeks ago, I found myself watching the action on the Jumbo instead of on the field and that is not a good thing. I'm going to make a conscience effort on Saturday to keep my attention on the field of play while the action is in progress.
I do not think anyone can count as high as the number of posters have commented on a "kiss cam." If you can't be original why bother.
To tell you the truth, most of the time I almost forgot the thing was even there. It's going to be great when you want to see a replay.
Please name one stadium that improved their game day experience with a Tron.

The reason I find the JUMBOTRON discussion interesting is because of all the rants and raves and debate about the idea of even having a JUMBOTRON back in the Charlie Weis days. While a few people including myself were all for it the majority of posters here in those days were dead set against it. I even recall several swearing they would never attend another ND game if there was JUMBOTRON installed in the stadium! Bwahahahahahahahaha!
And you bring this up...why? What's your concern in all of this? Have you even been the the stadium? have you ever been on campus? What ND fans discuss on a ND board is a discussion about something you know zero about. Get your attention on Farmers Only if you need it that bad.
Judging from that remark I take it that you have never attended a CFB game or any sporting event for that matter with a JUMBOTRON ! WHY? It's called the INSTANT REPLAY !
It's going to be hilarious for you and a lot of others in ND stadium the first time the JUMBOTRON shows a replay of a BAD CALL that goes against ND where the REF obviously blew the call! That is the point when the crowd will wake up so to speak and add a whole new dimension to the game experience! Bwahahahahahah! Almost wish I was there to see your face when that happens for the first time! LOL!
It's a RIVALS platform where RIVALS are welcome to participate in open discussion. It is NOT anyone's private domain. It is a message board open to the public and well suited for CFB fans in general. Enjoy!
It's a Rivals board to antagonize habitually? It's hilarious that you speak of the ND stadium atmosphere and how the Jumbo will affect things like you've actually been there. ND fans debating a Jumbo, turf, stadium renovations, parking, ticket prices, coaching staff, players, ADs. And that's what we do.
As long as the visiting rival respects the home posters and the rules. If an Irish poster copied your posting demeanor on the Chant Sports Board, you and I know they wouldn't be posting very long. No one is buying the caca you're trying to sell!

Thank you for your comment. With all due respect I follow the rules and respect other posters even though I may sometimes have differing opinions. No need for immature name calling and the like.........just looks bad for anyone resorting to that sort of thing.

And they showed live game action on the Jumbo. They show live game action on the Wisconsin Jumbo, the Minnesota Jumbo, the Cowboys Jumbo, the Colts Jumbo and most likely all Jumbos.
