What I truly LOVE about Josh is that when he gets the ball and we see a hole open up on TV--HE SEES IT TOO!!! Outstanding vision, cuts, speed & toughness!!! This is a unique quality that CJ, Tarean, bryant and others at ND have not shown. He will be an AMAZING RB if he can stay healthy.

Go Irish!!!

Ten more lbs of muscle next year and he is going to be a sight to see. I like his sense of humor when he said the o-line teased him and said, "you FINALLY found the hole" on his long run...acting like they had been opening holes like that for him all night. This is a fun bunch of guys to watch - enjoy it while you can friends.

Adams will be a headliner in a very special offense next yr . O might avg 40 + per game .

I see St Brown and A.Jones adding some juice to the equation as well .

Given what happened to our ranking after the BC game style points obviously matter moving forward . ND might score 50+ in three or more games next yr . No taking the foot off the peddle due to the style points issue .

Hope to see St Brown as a major weapon in the red zone!

Imagine what next year's offense can do in the red zone with Kizer, Zaire and Adams lined up in the Wing-T. Throw in Procise motioning the Jet Sweep

I actually think Tarean has the ability to find the hole just doesn't have Josh's or CJ's top-line speed. What a stable of RBs next year!

Not sure Lou had a stable of backs this good. That Wing-T play with Prosise motioning would be unstoppable anywhere on the field. Five options - hand to Prosise, pitch to Zaire to follow Procise, hand to Adams against the grain, Kizer keeping it up the gut, or pop pass because the defense sucked up to stop the run.

Its a good thing Bryant had to leave and then transfer - its opening up chances for others who are very good. Had a well respected CFB coach who follows ND tell me that ND is pretty dam loaded at almost all positions - that our overall talent base and the coaches developing our 3 and 4 star guys is as good as it gets in CFB.

Every RB that played this year looked better than Greg Bryant ever did. Maybe not Dexter just b/c he didn't play much, but I wonder how much Adams plays if GB was there?

Not trying to be mean but I do not even remember Greg Bryant. This has been the most dynamic offense I have seen from ND since I started following them in 1972.

We have every possible asset one would require next yr to make it work in the red zone - experience - talent - physiology . I will be shocked if those issues are not rectified . Also I won't be shocked if Zaire takes on red zone duties if Kizer can't make it work .

See Florida w Tebow

Yeah this offensive line does not get the respect it deserves. It has allowed ND to put up over 5000 total yards this season. Kizer has been given so much time to find receivers. This team will be scary good if they can clean up the turnovers, and Kizer is able to understand coverage better and uses his check downs more. The defense will not have to be great, just force 5 punts a game and no one beats ND.

Kelly...yes, I agree. Wrote elsewhere that I expect we'll be very good next year in the red zone. Kizer will have a year of experience and Spring ball and he should be much quicker in pulling the trigger, which is needed on a short field. He will have time to work with some of our bigger receivers and develop the timing and touch to create physical mismatch jump balls in the corners. Defenses will have to respect his passing in the red zone, which I don't think they did this year, which opens up the running game. I fully expect we'll see either Kizer and/or Wimbush given option opportunities in the red zone depending on the kind of defense we're up against, etc... Next year is the year we break out of our red zone doldrums.

Watch the long Kizer run before halftime. Adams hustles down to block the MLB when he sees Kizer run and then runs twenty yards down the field to throw another block and give Kizer an extra ten yards. Best play of the game for him!

I wish we played Michigan so we could just see how good these running backs are.....That is the thought here in Grand Haven, Mi

Ricky watters Rodney culver Jerome Bettis and Reggie brooks. Lou had an embarrassment of riches at RB, but agree josh cj and tarean are very solid. Lou actually recruited more RBs than most because he felt those were the most athletic and could move to other positions more easily. Reggie played a little DB. There were a couple others that went in to pros as defensive backs that were recruited as running backs.
