That would be totally unacceptable if some pitiful sad sack careerist bitch at USC was allowed to initiate the ending of the greatest rivalry in CFB, certainly the most prestigious, the most blue-blooded so to speak. And for the most wrong-headed, bullshit, almost corny ass reasoning. Because USC thinks they won't be able to stay competitive. The poor dears. This is why people fear our institutions are collapsing. On account of the people in positions of bureaucratic authority throughout society, simply cannot handle the responsibility. And cannot be trusted as stewards of our institutions.

Or maybe it's just hillbilly boy Lincoln Riley behind it. Can somebody just fire that piece of shit? Seriously, that guy has no business being head ball coach at USC. Get him back into the south where he belongs. He's gonna not last much longer and they'll probably bring Lane Kiffin back. At least he's a California kid.

Oh and F the Big Ten by the way. I hope ND never has to join them. I'm changing my tune on that one. Do they ever do anything good as a sports league? They really have a effed-up pathological corporate culture there. Ever since Jim Delaney I guess his name was that place is poison.

I agree, in addition, joining a conference would cause Notre Dame to lose some of its identity.

Swarbrick outlined the conditions that would cause Notre Dame to consider joining a conference

Let’s hope they never occur

The only way I see it happening is if the SEC and Big 10 agree to form a super conference and invite ND and others. The money would be enormous.
