BALTIMORE – Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas three-star quarterback Jake Allen won the inaugural Rivals Quarterback Challenge Presented by Under Armour on Sunday. Allen – who holds offers from N.C. State, Iowa, Miami, Rutgers and others – will be at the Irish Invasion on June 19 to workout in front of the Irish coaching staff. He'll then travel to Michigan on June 20 to throw at the A4 Ann Arbor's Arial Assault camp.

"I want to see campus and see how [Irish offensive coordinator] Mike Sanford coaches. So having that opportunity to check it out, is something that I want to do," Allen said.

The 6-2, 195-pound quarterback is regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in Florida for the class of 2017.

Stay locked into Blue & Gold Illustrated for a full update on Allen in the coming days.
