Basketball J.J. Starling named McDonald's All-American

The Notre Dame signee from LaPorte (Ind.) La Lumiere was named as a participant in the 2022 McDonald's All-America Game, which will be played in Chicago in March.

Starling, a four-star guard, is the first Irish men's basketball player to be named a McDonald's All-American since Demetrius Jackson in 2013.
