We played so well against the pass partly because Foskey and more importantly because we have a really good secondary. It's crazy to think the numbers he would have produced had he started the season playing the way he did from week 3 on.
People wonder how the hell we played so well against the pass, despite lacking upside in the secondary across the board, FOSKEY was the reason why.
He was a total passing game disruptor this season which is why he'll go early in the draft. EDGE players and CBs are more coveted than ever.
If you have a pulse and play DB you get drafted. Morrison and Hart are good CBs, and Bracy provided some good veteran reps this season, and probably will find his way onto some NFL roster, but nobody was expecting a defensive backfield full of 3 stars and position converts to hold up so well against the pass this season. They played way above expectations! We played so well against the pass partly because Foskey and more importantly because we have a really good secondary.
Hart and Morrison are both NFl guys. Bracy will probably make a team as a slot corner or at worst a practice guy.
Joseph is getting drafted too
So we got more talent than most in the secondary. Foskey had a good year, not a great year
First statement was wrongIf you have a pulse and play DB you get drafted.
Foskey started the season slowly, but from UNLV on he was on fire and every bit of the player that he was hyped up to be.
He's a guy who could go top 10 in the draft with a good combine but will probably go mid to late first.
Clarence going to get drafted? Griffith? Brown? Ramon? If you have a pulse and play DB you get drafted. Foskey was always beating his man and causing havoc in the backfield, leading to interceptions, fumbles, and sacks. Team's would go conservative on passing down's because of this guy's performance. He made the defensive passing game look really good this season.

If you are Kyle Hamilton who declared early last season, 16.4 million guaranteed. Why play the game?
And what happens when that’s gone 5 years after they retire from the NFL ?If you are Kyle Hamilton who declared early last season, 16.4 million guaranteed.
Why do you assume it will be gone ? You should really think twice before you type. You have absolutely no idea about Kyle Hamilton and his fiscal practices. And what happens when that’s gone 5 years after they retire from the NFL ?
On the other side of the coin we don’t know how much more he might have made if he stayed another year.
Deshone Kizer comes to mind !
just another example of the stupidity of fixating on recruiting rankings and starsIf you have a pulse and play DB you get drafted.
