Drafting such a low character guy as Winston will be very unpopular outside of Tampa and Tallahassee. We will see protesters outside games both home and away putting a spotlight on his nefarious past. Was this the huge mistake most people think it is?

No.

Most fans don't give a rat's behind. They just want wins. Winston wins and the past is forgotten. FSU fans had no problem looking the other way. Cane fans did the same back in the day. These coaches hitch their careers to these draft picks and I'm not really sure they would jeopardize their job by picking someone who they worked out, analyzed, and met with and didn't meet their expectations. I personally don't care about the Bucs or Winston.

Argusman, you are a disappointment. Did your mommy clean up the mess you made.

What's blatantly obvious to "most people" is that choosing the #1 player in the draft who was 26-1 in college and a Heisman winner was anything but a "huge mistake. Most people disagree with your delusions. Winston is a winner who had some maturity issues. Never been charged or arrested for anything. Even a speeding ticket.

And there won't be any protesters anywhere unless they are comprised of small 22+ persons crowds who all have the same mother carrying signs stating argusman rules.

Speaking of "low character" .... have you ever wondered why there are three fingers pointing back at you when you are pointing a finger at others. Hypocrisy at its highest level.

The question is not will Tampa be the most hated team. It's will you continue to be the most hated Rivals poster?

Hopefully your meltdown is now complete and we can put your craziness behind us. Get some help.

Are you actually implying that most people don't think Womaton is a rapist?

You really need to find a shrink. How much will Winston and FSU pay out to ale sure they never see Winston answer questions regarding why he raped one girl and violated a second?

Wake up and quit your lying Mo1d!

Good thing you have all those personalities to share your craziness. You are all alone in that basement.

I tend to think that Tampa made a huge mistake, but time will tell. Not sure we will see any protests though. If we learned anything from Tallahassee it is that winning can mask even the ripest stench.

Bucs fans are like other pro FB fans. If Winston does great they'll love him, if not they'll hate him.

And how do you suppose that a guy locked in a small room in an asylum, wearing a straightjacket all day long, has any idea what "most people" think about any subject?

Mo1d, Do you count that travesty vs. Notre Dame a win? Typically, yes...........criminoles, LOL!

If the Administrators had any guts they would take this thread down and tell everyone to not post about the guy, Mr. Winston. Time will tell if he gets knocked around if he can make big plays while fighting off injuries or concussions. And if he can keep his head on straight after playing in front of large audiences. time will tell. Large font is for Mr. 35.

Does the NCAA count it as a win? Did the officials count it as a win? Does the entire Seminole Nation count it as a win? Is it in every record book as a win? Then I'll go with them.

Besides the call was a correct one. ND got away with the illegal play in the first half and it was brought to the attention of the officials that they missed the call. They were watching for it in the second half.

Did you count the controversial goal line play in the Stanford game as a win in 2012? Thought so. So did I. But half the country and most of the Stanford Nation didn't.

It works both ways. Get over it!

Bottom line ... Winston was 26-1 as a starter while at FSU. And he just signed a four year deal with Tampa and an option for a fifth.

Go Bucs!

What controversial play vs Stanford? I hope you're not talking about the goal line stand in which the sideline officials came running in ending the play. Nice try. The fact that Seminole Nation and the game officials call it a FSU win is really comforting. The real facts are there were three, count 'em, three missed calls on the final two plays. All would have gone against FSU, all blatant, all ignored by the officials, all right there, front and center on national TV. The NCAA also recognizes the 1993 national championship to FSU. They haven't had any credibility since that impotent self important boys club was formed. Oregon and ND. Still pretty good college career. Nothing to be ashamed of.

It was a great game,they won,we lost,let it go.
As for Stanford, even if they had scored it would have tied the game, assuming the extra point was good, not won it.

bad comparison. Stanford would have only tied the game. HUGE difference.

Buc's were lovable losers, with the addition of Winston they become the team decent people will rightfully root against. This was a very bad pick and he showed his ass by disrespecting his new team by posting the crab leg pick simply demonstrated what an a-hole he is.

I wonder if Jumbo is still proud? Two peas in a pod! Low-life's!

Seriously, not counting the crab leg pic, what's the over/under on number of days before he shows his ass again.

My guess is he can't make 30 days.

Tampa, lock your doors! Tampa women, buy mace!

You can let it go. I choose to bring it up whenever it is appropriate. It's a challenge to remind Nole fans that they were given two gifts on one single play but I am up for that challenge. At the very least, give Winston one loss against Oregon and an asterisk win against ND. The fact that the NCAA, ESPN, and Seminole Nation pretend the final two plays never happened doesn't make it so in Realville. It's interesting to watch them squirm when the subject comes up. I'd be willing to bet that BK thinks of that game, that play, every single day, only he has to take the high road.

-The Bucs showed why they are a dismal franchise by drafting JW.

Quote from Argus/Holy Smoke, etc., etc..:

"-My knowledge of Notre Dame is minimal? I and my family have been hopnored at half time, has yours?"

Bwahahahahahahahahh!

Speaking of "realville", come on dude. FWIW, I took a peek at the official NCAA athletic site:
http://www.ncaa.com/schools/notre-dame/football

And the ND official site:
http://www.und.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/nd-m-footbl-sched.html

Nowhere do I see that game as a ND win, nor do I see an asterisk by it. I don't respond to that nut job argy in his many incarnations (really, what would the point be), but don't let him drag you down in to the sewer of lunacy where he lives. Why can't that game just be a close, great game between two very good teams instead of the great controversy of the college football world (which it isn't)? The announcers at the game and the vast majority of football analysts seem to think that was a legitimate call so it is time to let it go. Now you can argue all day long that maybe that call shouldn't have been made at that point in the game, but you can't really argue it wasn't a proper call according to the rules of the game. All the bitching and hard feeling in the world won't change the outcome and doesn't reflect very well on the ND fanbase, even though it is a small minority of fans that just can't let it go.

These things go in cycles. Last year ND was a very young, inexperienced team with inconsistant QB play and it showed, especially in the second half of the year. This year you are returning I believe 20 starters with a year of experience and another spring and fall camp. I would expect a much better team next year. And as cycles go, FSU could very well be the ND of college football next year (cycles). We will be a very young, inexperienced team and I expect to have very inconsistant QB play. Much like ND last year, we will have a roster full of talent, but inexperienced talent that will take their lumps as they learn and adapt to the speed of the college game. NOBODY is going to contend for the title each and every year and it will take a special season to make it for anybody. Will it be ND next year? We will all have to tune in and see.

Re: "NOBODY is going to contend for the title each and every year"

Hummm, just wondering how many years in a row Alabama has at least been "in contention"? :) He he he!

I don't follow anyone's lead. This is a free message board with free expression. Three missed calls on two plays is beyond having Dad's officiate the local youth flag football game. Incompetent. What's hilarious is the sarcasm I used explaining that an asterisk should be next to the ND win and it was actually taken seriously by you. Seriously enough that you had to look it up. 1993 and 2014, FSU continues to get the undeserving breaks.
