With all the complaints about officiating each and every game I really have to empathize with the officials. Basketball would appear to me to be the toughest of all the sports to officiate. You have 10 guys running up and down the floor, guys driving into bodies while driving to the hoop, bodies colliding on rebounds, guys flopping all over the place, etc. There is no way that there is not going to be bad calls/missed calls in every basketball game. I have always looked at a bad/missed call like a bad hop on a double play ball. It is part of the game and you need to shake it off and not whine about it.

One rule change/interpretation I would like to see regarding the charge/blocking call. I would like the officials to be told that when in doubt, you always make the blocking call. Do do not call a charge unless you are 110% sure it is a charge. This might also stop all the flopping that you now see.
