Is 6'5" Hendon Hooker a fit at Notre Dame?

Of course he is, from what I read he he's a bit of a project at QB. Poor throwing mechanics. But than ND seems to have a logjam at QB. But if your wondering if he's less athletic than Tommy Rees, the answer is no.

the film needed an arrow to show the QB?

Ahh..........sure. They do that in all the films highlighting a specific player.

The one player he reminds me of is Vince Young, the National title winner that beat a USC team that had 2 Heisman winners (at the time) on it. Young was also 6'5" but he was known for being a runner as much or more than being a passer. If Hooker could do in college what he does in HS he would be a big time winner. It will be very interesting to watch and see how he turns out...........where ever he ends up.

A lot like Vince young, indeed was thinking the very same

Thanks for posting Ara. Really surprised he's listed as a 3 star with an OK offer list. While he may need work on his passing skills, not many QBs offer the size, strength, speed, and athletic ability he possess. Would love to see him in ND uniform.

We seem to get our fair share of 3 star guys so we have a pretty good shot at him. Go Irish.

If Hooker doesn't pan out, he can always find a home with Ricky Pitino at Louisville bball.:D
