Just got word that Notre Dame's Mike Sanford watched Waco (Texas) Midland quarterback Sam Glaesmann throw on Wednesday.
Glaesmann, who sat behind SMU signee and Elite 11 finalist Ben Hicks last season, has picked up scholarship offers from Utah State and Rice in the past 24 hours. He said that schools are just now finding out about him after seeing his limited film. The 6-3, 195-pound quarterback added that he hasn't really talked to Sanford -- NCAA rules don't make it easy -- but he got a bunch of information for camps this summer and would consider a visit.
