our irish are playing maybe there best game of the year so far with a double digit lead on duke in the first half. I never saw this coming tonight

well the biggest question is how are going to react when duke makes a run in the second half. if they can withstand a duke run in the second half without falling apart then they'll be playing for a title sat against the tar heels

This is feeling like the F$U football game all over again. The game is completely rigged by the officials. Getting to the point where there is no point to watching ND athletics. Effing joke.
Obviously it is suppose to be a Duke vs. UNC. Final. The refs will do all they can to make it so

I posted here way back when ND joined the ACC just wait til you see their officiating.
I've lived in MD for the better part of my life and have had to "suffer" with ACC sports while MD was in the ACC. My opinion has always been the ACC refs are very inconsistent and seem to call things in favor of the "Big Man in the Conference" (NC when Dean Smith was coaching and now Duke).
I'm from NJ, Living in MD for the past 18 years; oldest son a graduate of UMD and I see it. I was an official for 15 years in NJ, and I can tell you, these guys sucks ... For both teams. Though more so against my alma mater tonight. Fouling out Zach was just pathetic.
So glad the fellas stepped up huge tonight. That was an embarrassment what the refs were doing in the final six minutes of the game. How can those refs keep their jobs? Are they employed by Duke?

we almost blew it but found a way to hang on and win. I really have no clue as to how Saturday's game with the tar heels will go because I've seen Carolina play as well as anybody at times this year but then seen them play some really bad ball also
^our boys just have to know that getting there is not enough. They have to want it, like they did tonight, beating both Duke and the officials
Jackson has become THE man!!! Stevie V has ice water in the veins and Bonzie is the best 6 man in America. I never realized how much I hate Duke until tonight. . Could you imagine how bad Coach K would have been screaming at the officials IF those calls were the other way around ??? How can those refs NOT be questioned by their supervisor???? Terrible . Great win for ND basketball. I'm pacing.

This is hilarious. The two tools from PTI gave ND zero chance to beat Duke based on the last meeting between the two teams. Again, as Kornheiser often brings up the BCS title game against Bama, he brought up the last game played between ND and Duke as his reason for a certain Irish loss vs Dukey. Now, many folks did not give the Irish much of a chance last night but it is gratifying to see both those idiots wrong.
