Irish Chocolate Cut By The Texans

seemed to have lacked the work ethic that being a pro requires; we may have gotten glimpse of that toward the end of his ND time.

Does he have his ND degree?

Wow! This comes as a surprise to me. But, I never followed his career in the pros.

"Nix didn’t appear in a single game during the entire 2014 season for the Texans." says a lot and, obviously, the Texans didn't see him bumping that number up this year.

TM, you continue to be a moron on the scale of Mo1e and cgvr. Why is it wrong to ask if he had his degree?

The average CFB player does not get a degree, yet over 95% of ND players do and that piece of paper sets them on a great path for life, unlike the average NFL player without a degree and an average of a three year NFL career.

I believe Louis did graduate, I think I fondly remember a story about him coming back to fulfill a promise to his Mom ensuring he did get that degree.

He will get a chance outside of Houston and if things in the NFL don't work out ND prepared him for life. A forty year decision!

While TM was not the classiest in his response there was a lot of talk with regards to him coming back for the last year he was at ND specifically to get his degree because of a promise he made his mom.

haven't really followed him as Texans games are rarely on in my area. did see him get absolutely de-cleated in the saints game last sunday. looked really heavy.

I know he sat out all last season with an injury. Not surprised a guy his size would pack on some pounds.

Texan fans said he has knee issues. That probably prevents him from being able to work out as much as a guy his size needs to.

That guy couldn't stay away from the training table at ND- not surprised he has trouble in the pros - too bad he can't get away from the table.

Hopefully Big Lou will catch on somewhere else. He needs to get healthy and in better shape. Apparently the Texans couldn't wait any longer for that.

He's still young enough, he has the ability, now we'll see if he has the desire to get in shape and catch on with someone

Moron?

The irony......

Tell us about your 40 year decision and how proud you made your mom. Surely you can make up a good entertaining award winning story. Maybe something along the line of being hopnored at a ND halftime. I think I fondly remember that one. Can't wait.
