With the season just about to get started, we wanted to promote one of our loyal subscribers to moderator status. @HotCarNut has agreed to help us keep an eye on the board as we start to get even busier.
We've found over the last several months that @HotCarNut is an active board contributor and a level-headed one, too. He has experience moderating and has embraced the opportunity to do so here.
We're not asking @HotCarNut to rule with an iron fist. In the coming days, he will gain the ability to delete posts with inappropriate content that violates The Insider Lounge Forum Rules and lock threads that get out of control. @Eric Hansen and I will determine if any further punishment needs to be handed down to repeat offenders. The idea is just to have another set of eyes to help keep things in order.
Feel free to engage in debate with @HotCarNut as you normally would. His moderator status doesn't mean all his opinions are right! 😂
With the exceptions of lewd content and political insults/discussion, I'd like to think we've been pretty laissez-faire in our board moderation. That's how we'd like to proceed.
