board is only as good as the members make it. I know everyone is bummed about 35. But if you want good articles to read, and post. Then help go and find them and post them. Otherwise we end up with 20 threads about negative things and everyone pissed off at one another.

I like luke but Russell is the far superior talent.

In modern football you need 3 starting corners. Boundary, Field and Nickel. And you better have some depth because if one of those guys go down and you've go no one ready to play, you're screwed.

Cole Luke had more interceptions, more pass break ups, and more tackles than K. Russell in their last seasons (both as sophmores). K. Russell had a much better surrounding cast than Cole Luke had on defense.
Cole Luke is a physical Baller who makes plays. K. Russell is a very good corner and has a lot of potential but the hype on him is like the hype on Golson-- And K. Russell has to much baggage--He may not even play this year. IMO.
I am just as guilty about hyping ND players by the way. But from what I have seen of Cole Luke I have become very impressed with him. He was also a 4 star CB coming out of highschool destined for stardom (everyone wanted him) and he has not disappointed.

Getting suspended for a whole year for academic fraud is not baggage ? Cole Luke has handled his time at ND without resorting to cheating. K. Russell is a very good player but I assume you haven't watched Cole Luke play. Cole is a baller and gets zero hype. Mike Frank thinks Cole Luke is better also. It may be a matter of opinion on who is better but to say either one is a far superior talent is a bit of a stretch. IMO.
