I was very impressed with what Trace did for Penn State last year. Kid is a winner. I was comparing their recruiting stats. Similar offers. Book was ranked #15, McSorley #50.... about the same height and weight....

I know Wimbush is the guy but I'm thinking there is a reason QB guru Sanford so coveted Ian.

Any word on his development in 2016?

If he wants to start at ND, he'd better be as good as McSorley. Assuming Wimbush is the guy this year and stays healthy, he'll need to beat out Davis and Jurkovec to win the job.

Sanford wanted him for a reason, no doubt about it. It'll be interesting to see how Long and Rees impact the depth chart.

Book can play. Saw all his senior season games. Played against good competition in the same conference that produced Wash. QB Jake Browning the year before. He can run and pass. Looking forward to the spring game to see if he has progressed.
