I take full responsibility for the football losses this season

I would like to apologize to the rest of the Notre Dame football fan base for the 2 losses this season.
Every football weekend, on the Friday morning I shave and get my haircut. On Saturday, I put on The Shirt and a green Notre Dame full zip hoodie.
For the Georgia weekend, I did not wear The Shirt or hoodie as I went to my niece's 21st birthday party.
This past weekend, I did not get my haircut because I have been asked to grow my hair for Movember so that the school can shave my head at the end of the month for Prostate cancer. As well, I wore my green Hoodia on Friday and wore a grey ND hoodie on Saturday.
I am sorry for ruining your season and I take full responsibility for how well the 17 to 22 year olds played on those weekends.
I hope you all can forgive me for letting you all down this season.

I too take full responsibility. I watch every game by myself at my house wearing the shirt and my black golf shorts. Instead I went out to a sports bar with friends and had to change attire (kept the shirt). The last time I didn't donned the same attire was the Georgia game.

I too wore the wrong shirt at the start of game, and we scored two minutes after I pulled the right one out of the dryer and corrected my mistake. But it was too little too late. I had on off week leading up to the game. Poor attention to detail all week. I even wore mismatched socks one day. And if I'm really honest, I underestimated the environment we'd be facing.

This is the type of stuff that happens we get caught up in the Heisman talk and playoff rankings. We need to block out the noise and stick to the process.

We'll bounce back this week.
