So is there any possibility that Carlisle (6 starts, 23 receptions, 3 TD’s) doesn't have a scholarship come fall? With all the WR depth that we have accumulated, is it out of the realm of possibilities that he’s one of the discarded? It seems like ND is looking more at who NOT to put on the field now, vs. searching on who they CAN put out there, as has been the case in the recent past. I like Carlisle, don’t get me wrong, but it seems that his production could be picked up elsewhere. In the end I think he’s brought back, but IF ND were to move on, who would come in to pick up/take over his spot?
