I may be travelling in the greater San Francisco area during the uva game. If I cannot get radio KTCT 1050 am to listen what would you guys suggest? Is the ND text alert the only option? Does it work?

Of course I will try to get near a TV.......just need to know my options. I will have my verizon cell along.

If you are renting a car get one with XM radio. The Catholic station, which is somewhere in the 200's, has all the games. Other then that I have no other ideas. Hope that helps.

You bought my Old Nash Rambler?

There are apps that allow your smart phone to act like a radio. Only used a free one that enabled my phone to get FM stations on a driving trip last year. There are ones where you can get Sirius for example, and get one free week of service at initiation, etc... but have no experience with these. Hope this helps.

Also check NBC Sports online. They showed last years home games live online. I believe they had an app.

Not sure about this year.

Problem is the UVa game is at UVa. So it won't be on NBC Sports. Or am I missing something?

I have Sirius radio in my truck and man do I love it. I have a 3 hour plus drive after the Texas game and Sirius radio will keep me awake for the drive from SB.

I rented a car this summer for a drive to North Carolina and was surprised it had Sirius radio.

The Virginia game will be carried on ABC at 3:30 ET and 2:30 CST. I understand it's a national telecast.
And for some unknown reason Watch ESPN does not include the sports programming that is on ABC, even though ESPN produces that programming.
