This came up in a podcast question and some others have been curious. We got a group text for ND today to clarify ...
"To be clear, we are still allowed to have a home game experience for the playoff game.
The changes would be that IU’s intro video will play. Their band will be in attendance, like a normal home game, and both bands will perform at halftime. There will be a few CFP 30-second spots that will air during breaks, but those would be in place of when normal University recognitions would be anyway (professor of the week etc.)
Otherwise, Notre Dame can operate the game experience as a typical home game with music, videos, crowd prompts, etc. "
