How many ND fans show up in Death Valley?

My guess is every ticket that is available to Irish fans will be purchased. I don't know how many are available but it will be a hard sellout.

Hard sell out? More like an easy sell out. I wouldn't go to the game if people paid me to. Those southerners love to throw fish on ND players and fans.

Notre Dame – The Georgia Tech-Notre Dame Fighting Irish football rivalry is infamous more for atrocious off-the-field behavior, rather than the actual games. Georgia Tech fans pelted the Notre Dame players, coaches, and visiting fans with fish and liquor bottles during the games played at Bobby Dodd Stadium during the 1960s and 1970s.[63] One of the more note worthy games was the 1980 3-3 slug fest at Grant Field during Bill Curry's first season, when then No.1 ranked Notre Dame left Grant Field with its hopes for a national championship in ruins, and once again the visitors were pelted with fish

Me neither, turnovermachine. They are savages.

The question is this. Do Clemson fans sell their tickets to opposing fans as quickly as ND fans? Irish fans sell if there is any kind of buck to be made and then come here to complain about the stadium atmosphere.

That is a shame. I remember GT doing that to you guys in 1974 while I was at Clemson. I can promise you that if you come to the game and mingle with tiger fans you will feel welcome. We pride ourselves for being good host. Most visiting fans after the games say it was one of their favorite road trips on their message boards. Of course you can always run into the exception anywhere, but if you did and other Clemson fans were around you can bet they would call them out on it.

By the looks of it, yes. There are still tickets to be had.

That game was 40 years ago. And we've played many games in the south since then without any unusual incidents.

There is a correlation between having the #1 rated business school and selling tickets at 5 to 10 times face value.

There won't be an empty seat. There may 50K total fans outside tailgating too. It's going to be madness. The only thing to slow it down would be the weather.

as of latest Clemson is in the 8-15 inches of rain band. Teams will be entering the Stadium on an Ark!

the entire EC is getting heavy rains - unrelated to Joaquin. The rain from both fronts will result in serious to catastrophic flooding conditions! I am surprised the Gov. of S.C. has not asked the game be cancelled!
I do think that is a distinct possibilty.
