This is how I imagine the older posters like NDSINCE35 and Ara and DIP partied after the Irish sugar bowl victory over Alabama in the "game of the century" in 1973.

I remember it well. Tulane stadium on New Year's Eve. I was ten years old. My whole family watched the game. No one gave the Irish a chance. Thank god for Bob Thomas and Al Hunter. One of the top 3 Irish games in my life time.
