Indiana University academically ranks at the bottom of the Big Ten, and your idiotic posts on this board only support this poor ranking. Why is Indiana's academic rank so embarrassingly bad? Care to explain or discuss why your alma mater is a joke?

My alma mater isn't Indiana. I like them however.

My name isn't Brian, its Jack. Everybody calls me Handsome Jack though, after the villain in the Borderlands video game series.

This is a Notre Dame message board so it would be innapropriate to discuss Indiana University academics.

Here is a question for you. How many BCS bowl games did ND win during the BCS era? Here is the answer, zero :(

I don't know about this guy but there are two programs that I check the football box scores.......Navy and Indiana. Born and raised in the Hoosier state has led me to this point. I want them to have success. I want them to keep Hoosier top talent in-state after ND. I don't know what will come first. Indiana winning a bowl game of any kind or the Cubs winning a World Series. Something has give.

Wow, interesting segue there.

Classic,

Care to share a link to your claim of IU being the worst academically in the Little 14. I find that hard to believe and think you are channeling your "Inner Argus".

I posted it in another thread. Third from the bottom of the Big Ten actually---ranking ahead of Michigan State and Nebraska. Check out the U.S. News and World Report rankings.

Yes one would actually have to go to college and graduate in order to have a alma mater.

BTW, how many BCS games did IU play in? Answer is zero.

Wow. "After the villain in the Borderlands video game series."

It's all so clear to me now.

So, does your mom let you touch the thermostat, or do you just bring extra blankets down to the basement?

Why the need to bash IU? I'm a big IU and ND fan and there are plenty of idiots who are graduates and/or fans of each school.

Found it. Using the US News and World Report rankings as a measure, it ranks third from the bottom among Big Ten schools:
#13 Northwestern
#29 Michigan
#42 Illinois
#47 Wisconsin
#48 Penn State
#54 Ohio State
#62 Purdue
#62 Maryland
#70 Rutgers
#71 Iowa
#71Minnesota
#76 Indiana
#85 Michigan State
#99 Nebraska
