and I'd like some suggestions. I'm driving up the morning of and will probably be on campus around noon. I would love some suggestions on traditions/tailgates/things to do while roaming ND.

Must see things:

First, at UND.com you can get the schedule for the weekend. You will need that.

Inside of Dome building (especially if you can do trumpets under the dome)
Basilica
Grotto
Sports HOF in Joyce ACC

Have a steak sandwich at the Knights of Columbus on South Quad

Poke your head in the south dining hall and remember Rudy

Have no less than 3 or 4 brats, all from different organizations

Band concert at Bond Hall

Walk around the Joyce lot during tailgating (if you wear Domer stuff everyone will be nice to you. If you wear Georgia Tech stuff they will be extra nice to you and you will eat and drink for free)

Be in the stadium no less than 40 minutes before kickoff so you can see the whole pregame band ritual

I will definitely do the KofC steak sandwich!
I will remember the south dining hall.
Brats...color me there.
Does the tailgating allow someone to 'buy in'?

I would really like to hook up with a tailgate. Just somewhere I can relax when I want to relax.

Player walk starts at 1:15. Kelly always runs late on that. Get in line early if you're going to be in between the library and stadium. I'm shocked no one mentioned it. It's a madhouse over there near the north end of the stadium.
