They are just looking for clicks not one of those coaches will be the next ND coach. Kelly will survive this year.

I always assumed that ND paid it's coaches close to top money. My father told me to read this article and I just texted him about the pay scale. How can we win if we aren't paying top money for top coaches and assistants?
He makes much more from Under Armour, radio show etc. Probably in the vicinity of 4 million.
Kelly's entire compensation package, which includes, but is not limited to the salary, is between 4-5M. There are many other income streams that make up any difference between his salary and this figure. It has always been done this way since Ara.
Just watched the Western Michigan-Acron game. P. J. Fleck is your coach. Young and bold! Get him or another top level program will. Very well coached WM team. You can watch them on New Years day. He may or may not be available after the 2017 season. Someone else will absolutely grab him. Too good to stay at WM. When the coaching change happens, you will be surprised, Kelly will be the one that either initiates the conversation or both parties decide it is in everyone's best interest that there is a separation.

If you were to build ND into a national power year in year out with a NC thrown in every 3rd to 4th season they would build statues in your honor
If Kelly stays past this season ND has told us all we ever need to know. This coaching staff is putrid. And it shows. But keep buying that ND gear gang. Because winning Football at ND doesn't matter anymore. Only money does. But those of us who have been fans for decades realized that when Lou was forced out. ND Football has been dead since 1996. Kelly staying is the final nail in the coffin.

Schiano would be a good get . Really changed the face of Rutgers football for 5-6 seasons before going to Tampa Rutgers has a number of defensive backs in the pros ,look at the patriots . Rutgers didn't get a lot of 4-5 star players in those years
