Helmet color and luster question

The current ND helmet has a high luster and gloss finish. This is different from the gold and luster used on the helmets in the 1970's and 1980's.

Do you like the current helmet luster or would you prefer to go back to a more traditional one? Just curious what your thoughts are. Thanks.

Not to be an ass, but given the problems with the team, the luster on the helmets are the least of our concerns.

The current helmets supposedly match the gilding on the Dome. Considering the Dome was the inspiration for the gold helmets, I think this is spot on. The current helmets are pretty awesome. Comparing them to the helmets of years past is no comparison.

Now if only the winning would happen like it did in years past....
