Dalvin Cook was found not guilty of misdemeanor battery after the jury returned a verdict in only a few minutes. The accuser was so drunk that she had trouble remembering much of anything and the event was witnessed by a number of people including non-football players as Dalvin Cook actually tried to protect the girl in question.

Now FSU fans are looking at two potential Heisman winners, one from the QB position including Everett Golson and RB Dalvin Cook

People here still follow Everett Golson and his team with interest.

I keep up with news on Everett Golson, I don't keep up with the rest of that team

Fair enough...........and of course, he is part of a team. His possibilities of winning a Heisman are dependent on his team. So, the team is Everett and Everett is the team (assuming he gets to start). It's all interesting CFB news for those interested in CFB.

Regarding Dalvin Cook. The girl he allegedly hit had blood on her nose and chin etc. and bruised her knees probably when she fell. FSU players gave different accounts of the incident. A FSU administrator/witness just happened to be watching the altercation for whatever reason and he saw no wrongdoing(of course). Dalvin didn't remember much but said he wasn't drunk and he didn't hit the girl. I would not consider any FSU player, coach, administrator or local law enforcement for any award ever. I hope FSU goes without a win this season.

She had blood on her lip, which could have happened from any number of instances. That doesn't sound like a whole lot of damage when you claimed to be repeatedly hit by a 225 lb football player. By almost all accounts, not just including football players, Cook was trying to diffuse the situation between this girl and members of the football team.

Yes, I think her face fell into his hand while he was trying to calm her down. Another crazed fsu fan enthralled by this talented athlete and the other members of the team involved. It's the price of stardom....

amirite?

Well, FSU doesn't play Notre Dame, so a winless season could be a possibility.

I'm going by the reports of people who were there and didn't have a dog in the fight. If that dude hit ME multiple times, I would have much more than a slightly cut lip, and I'm a big dude. There's no way that this girl's claims are true. Nothing about the situation adds up.

It is nearly impossible to convict an FSU athlete without video because FSU, Coaches, administrators and the local police won't allow it to happen. In the Winston case the video which would have convicted him was destroyed, in the Cook case there was no video so they found witnesses to lie, but in the freshman QB case the crimcal and the police could not get to the video so he's gone.

It does not change the fact that everyone involved was guilty and FSU sows their true colors, again!

It is nearly impossible to convict an FSU athlete without video because FSU, Coaches, administrators and the local police follow the evidence and if there is none then the case is adjudicated as it should be. In the Winston case the video which would have totally exonerated him was destroyed (because taping without consent is against the law), in the Cook case there was no video so they found unbiased witnesses to tell what they saw, but in the freshman QB case the crimcal and the police were able to get the video so he's gone in spite of never being in trouble in his life (as he should have been).

It does not change the fact that everyone involved was innocent if you believe the evidence and FSU sows their true colors, again! Garnet & Gold.

There I fixed it for you. The truth will set you free argus.

The only thing you should be pissed about is the SA wasted your tax money to prosecute a case that should have never gone to trial. If you listened to the 911 call it's probable you wouldn't even have responded to it. This was adjudicated by six independent jurors with two women on the jury selected in part and agreed on by the State and decided in under 25 minutes after hearing testimony from all parties involved or present. As usual the SA overcharged (if a misdemeanor battery can be overcharged) in their zealousness to go after FSU FB players. Some things never change.

Did Cook play on ND squad?

Or did yoy just run out of porn to watch after seeing this and needed to run over here and spread the news?

There was pretty much no doubt that he was innocent within days of the supposed incident. Not sure why this ever made it to trial.

It will be great to see Everett handing off, pitching out and passing to Dalvin. Be sure to tune in and root for this Heisman hopeful combo! It doesn't get any better than that.

So, are you going to use Golson to stir pot about FSU on an Irish board all season?

......anyone that is cruel to puppies I have no interest in and that includes former Irish players that kick dogs too.

Hi Alice.......

Try this..........sing along and just see if that doesn't make you feel a whole lot better.

"Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't know if I can take it
cause it took so long to bake it
and I'll never have that recipe again.........
Oooh...... noooo.......!"

Shades of McArthur Park by both Richard Harris and Donna Summer :)

Bwaahahahahahahahahah!

Dang Alice...........see there...........I knew that would perk you up!

One thing about it.........good ole ND grad Everett playing for the Seminoles will be a great topic of conversation this year............ahhh........that is of course, assuming he gets to start. Tune in folks and watch your man play!

FSU posters trying to get ND fans upset about an FSU player being found innocent. Why is this not on an FSU board were someone cares? Most ND fans certainly don't.
