From the sounds of it, ND is still thinking about adding another capable QB to its room. Obviously the Slovis interested alluded to that need. ND still wants a QB, however now for depth purposes.
Derek Kyler is a grad transfer QB from Dartmouth. He will only have 1 year remaining but fits the style of QBs in the room. High IQ (obviously from Ivy league), high character, and is definitely a dual threat. Reminds me so much of Ian Book. More polished as a passer than Buchner right now, and more overall talented than Pyne. He would be a quality backup to Buchner, as well as contribute to the culture at that position.
