Good news on James Onwualu !!

Coach Kelly said James had a sprained MCL and will miss the BC game.
He most likely will be back for Stanford.
Greer Martini will replace him for BC. I think Greer is a stud and played excellent yesterday.

*** ND fans need to realize what a GREAT team Notre Dame is. Brian Kelly and staff have recruited diamonds.

Fans need to realize also that when GREAT teams play teams with inferior talent during the regular season they don't usually beat them 59 to 10. They save their energy for big games. Look at Ohio State beating a lousy Illinois team 28 to 3 or Notre Dame beating a scappy but overmatched Wake Forest team 28 to 7.
The object now is to survive and advanced. The pretenders will lose (see Baylor and OK State and Iowa next)

*** Notre Dame is a GREAT team loaded with talent with a few superstars. I think many of you realize this but many of you will realize this after ND wins the Championship (doubting Thomas's)

Daniel was held out of the Wake Forest game. I am trying to find out on the wide internet but have come up with nothing.

I would guess he was held out because he was banged up a bit and Coach was resting him to have him healthy and rested for Stanford. I think if it was a serious injury there would be stuff out there about it but since there isn't it must be good news for Daniel.
If I find out anything I will post it.

They said during the game he was showing signs of a concussion so they held him out.

i want to know how J.O. has a grade 2 knee sprain and he's supposed to be back in 2 weeks for the most physical team we will play. I had a grade 2 ankle sprain and i couldnt have played in 2 weeks. I he does play i cant see him playing anywhere near 100%

I always thought that Greer and Jarret would see more of the field against Stanford, because of their size and physicality
