I'll be interested to see if Golson does this at FSU but I think Golson's biggest flaw was his confidence in himself. Last year, I think he would either go for the riskier pass rather than dumping it off to the TE and the RB for a handful or audible out of the plays that would have gotten 4-5 yards. This lead us into way more 3rd and long and 4th and long situations than we ever should have been in. Now Golson was able to recover and get out of a lot of these scenarios on the strength of his arm but if he was playing QB the way I think Kelly wanted him to, we wouldn't have been in the situations where Golson had to make the play in the first place.
