Reality Man, I have read TheDecker's original post that you have quoted here. If you hold this "analysis" in as high regard as you say you do, then I question your judgment equally as much. Just a few examples of wild misses, that anyone with knowledge of Harbaugh and/or UM could have seen a mile away:
1. QB is an absolute disaster and Harbaugh isn't going to be able to change that in 2015 - no explanation needed. Check Rudock's numbers.
2. WR just lacks anything impressive at all - see Jehu Chesson
3. TE is thin - hilarious. Butt, Hill, Bunting, Williams. As a group they led the country and individually Butt had more catches than anyone. He was targeted as a primary receiver 77 times in '15.
4. OL is below average in run blocking, but they've been terrible in pass protection - actually the OL was damn good in pass pro all year long
5. THe OL veteran and showing signs of improvement, but has yet to even reach "average Big10 team" levels...and let's not even discuss dominating top level teams across the nation - see Florida. Coach McElwain has a far different opinion. "It was a case of getting your rump kicked in," McElwain said. "That's what it was. Our energy was good. We came out and played inspired football. Just call it the way it is. They out-physicalled us, guys, no doubt about it. I mean, I hate to state the obvious all the time, but they did. They did a great job with their pad level and really took it to us on both sides of the ball." Btw that was one of the top rated defenses in the SEC and country.
Not only has the Harbaugh train left the station, but it is powering down the tracks on a collision course with the CFB playoff next season.
