Fire Dabo!

I’ve never rooted so hard for a team other than the Irish as I am right now!! And then a bonehead delay of game....and then an incredible QB draw for the first down! Wow....c’mon Syracuse!!

Last time I was at the Carrier Dome was in 1980 or 1981 for the Rolling stones !! I wanted to see them one last time ! I thought it was their farewell your !! Start me up !!! The Irish go 11 and 1 and they are in the playoffs !!! Down goes Dabo !!! Down goes Dabo !! Down goes Dabo !!

By the way...

Dabo plays his hurt QB and is lucky to score in the first half. (And it results in a concussion.)

Kelly trusts his backup and his defense and he wins by three scores.

You are right stu4don. Coach Kelly showed his coolness and now has a ready for primetime backup in Book. And Brandon is rested and ready for USC. Three weeks of rest. We know he won't show any rust in his passing. But he now has fresh legs to run wild against the Trojans. There are no excuses for the Irish to not win out this year and make the playoffs.

Well the playoff picture just got very interesting. I think most had Bama, Clemson, Big Ten champ and one spot open. Now it will be hard for Clemson to get back in with the one loss being to the Cuse. Unless the Cuse wins the rest of their games etc, etc. So 2 spots may now be open.

The lack of oxygen getting to your brain is alarming. Qualified medical help is available in your area. Call now.
This coming from a wannabe coach who thinks he knows everything about ND and the game of football. How dare anyone criticize bk, one of the most overhyped so so head football coaches out there.

Don't be too hard on Dabo. Even Rockne suffered this kind of embarrassing loss to a huge dog. I understand it was a different era, but still...a loss is a loss.

Fire Leach and Dabo. How can they possibly lose a game in CFB to a double digit UD!!!

Bright side, ND not playing moves is in with the selection committee. SOS, loss and wins that cover expectations.

Clemson isn't dead in the water yet. The committee does take into account if a loss came while missing a key player, and losing your starting QB is about as key as it gets. But they're going to need a lot of help. If Alabama, Washington, Penn State, and TCU all remain undefeated, it's game over. If one of those four drops or two and Georgia loses a close one to Bama and no others or Wisconsin stays unbeaten, it's going to be hard for Clemson to get a chance to defend their championship.

Just joking about fans' tendency to overreact. Dabo is one of the best five, maybe three coaches working these days. He finally got Clemson over the hump. And Clemson kids go to class. He's built a class program. Lost to Pitt last year and still won.

Now we just need to block everything else out and just win next Saturday.

Win and advance!

It's nice having a quality DC again. Love our new S&C Program. The lads look as fresh at the end of the game as at the start. AMAZING!

I may have told this story before. I met a guy wearing a polo ND shirt in a store in florida and I was tagging on Kelly. The guy was tied in somehow and supported Kelly knew He was getting a strength and D and O coach. Said that would make the difference. He was right. I still have issues with smelly (that was an auto typo, honest). But he has done what was needed this year

Love our D. Best D in many years. I liked our 2012 D but we were soft in secondary. Much better overall this year

Or.....or.....

Wait for it...

BW has a worse than let on injury. Maybe he couldn't play. Period.

Maybe it was Kelly's opportunity to see some real passing for his highly touted recievers.

Lastly...i feel sorry for who Clemson plays next. It will be a total blood bath.

But yet you support bk? Losses to Tulsa 2010, South Florida 2011, and fricking Duke in 2016. I would take Dabo in a heartbeat over bk.

More pointing out how we all over react. Dabo, not sure. One title in 10 years. No recruting restriction. Atheletes not student atheletes. Every reason to win more than one. If BK had no restrictions and could fill in with JUCO's maybe he has 2 titles. Tough to compare. Like Saban. Very good MSU teams, had to go to The SEC where winning is more important than a student atheletes.

Dabo also lost to S Florida and Wake Forest and Syracuse ranked at #2. So I'm not sure I could say he is someone I would take anyway over BK. He coaches at a place where he can have anything he wants to win. Just my opinion. Seems like a very good coach and a pretty decent guy. Kids seem to like him. He yells, frowns and throws tantrums so not sure our fans could stand it.

Your opinion is wrong. Clemson is a very good academic institution. So sick of the excuses you clowns make for bad coaching hires. This whole 40 year decision BS is getting old.

This weekend proves that we fans are fans for a reason. Every coach has bad games, struggles at times, and is unpopular at times. BK has won at ND with less caliber players, he's made blunders, and he's won some big games. At the end of the day, BK is one. Of the best coaches we've had in a long time. I don't think I like him much as a person, but I think I like him coaching at ND over most other coaches out there.

Unfortunately we have to put up with your 40 year fan decision. Way too much whining

It's actually not feasible to have an opinion that is wrong. It's an opinion for a reason. Not sure why you feel I'm a clown. We have never met, I'd assume your an a-hole but I can't really say definitely you are. You posts make me deduce you are. My opinion is That i do not see some massive difference in the coaches and Dabo has a decided advantage. That's really it. Since 1987, ND has one a single title. Must be pretty hard to do there as we have had some great coaches. Fairly sure that's exactly how many Clemson has won as well.

Every CFP champ has a loss like last night.

So is UNC.

And he has that national championship ring from beating Alabama last year...something Kelly had a chance to do in 2012 and could not get done. I would Dabo Sweeney any day of the week.

And he has a 2 pt lucky win, at home, after 4 TO's ND gave them with a QB that had 1 game under his belt. I just don't see it but that's my opinion. ND had 150 more yards than Dabo. ND plays a much tougher schedule and has much different expectations. It's just different. Ask Lou.

Dabo is a great coach but had a bad night.

Thought they should have started the backup and just run the ball.

Keeps their offense off the field which is a pain to play against and saves your DL which was absolutely gassed in the 4th qtr.

Kicking game was atrocious and showed the value of the need to win in all 3 phases.

Their next 2 games vs GTECH and in Raleigh vs NC State define their season
