Great pickup for ND by getting Ewell today. He'll have an Isaac Rochell type of impact for ND and a year for now I think he'll be 6'3, 305lbs, strong as an ox and more ready play right away than Tillery was as a freshman. Kid had one of the best offer lists in this cycle. Very important get, at a position of need, from an area of the country try ND really needs (and can) do better.

With ND now down to roughly 7 spots left in the class, they can go big game hunting and really lock in on their top group of remianing topics

Here is my realistic dream finish.

OT: Jedrick Wills
WR: Osiris St. Brown
WR: Tarik Black
RB: Colin Wilson
DE: Josh Paschal
DE: Josh Kaindoh
CB: Shaun Wade

I'd also be thrilled with less of a homerun finish that looked more like...

OT: Jedrick Wills
WR: Osiris St. Brown
WR: Tarik Black
Slot: Michael Young or Jamire Calvin
DE: Josh Paschal
DE: Hunter Echols
CB: Thomas Graham or Salvon Ahmed

The first scenario would give ND a bonafide top 5 class. The 2nd scenario would give ND a class ranked in the 6-10 range. Either finish would be great. Hope for the beat thoug!! A strong season and some big wins at hone while kids are on officials would be huge!

i think the 2nd scenario isnt that far fetched. I could easily see that happening. I'd LOVE to get Kaindoh to flip. and while i posted in another thread i dont think he'll stick w/ Maryland, I'm not sure he'd flip to ND even if he does. That said if we got Ewell, Paschal & Echols, we should be absolutely thrilled.

of all the players on Ontario's first list I also think we land 5 star OT wills, 4 star DE Paschal, and i'll take wade out over top 5 rated CB Thomas Graham who I think we get in an upset over west coast schools if mom likes her first visit to the campus for the Michigan st game as dad is already on board if Thomas so chooses to come to south bend. confused about 4 star DE Echols from CAL and so i'll hold off on my prediction for him. Echols talks in interviews like he's all irish when talking about the school and the friendships he made the other recruits at irish invasion and kids already at notre dame but then talks about being a solid commit to ucla and how he has helped recruit several of there commits

my interpretation is he doesnt want to tip his hand that he's gonna flip in interviews. If i was betting, I'd put it on ND at this point, but who knows, I'm optimistic here.

if you are talking about Echols D_Master then you could be right. with LA WR Young anouncing on wed where who do you think he picks Ontario, D_Master

ND or Oregon. Unless something drastically changes between now and Wednesday , I have him picking ND.

For all you star chasers out there, Young may very well be the last "3 star" ND takes in the 2016 cycle , unless they bend up taking Daley on the defensive side of the ball.
