ESPN exercising option to extend deal with ACC

I like it as well, but if ND and the ACC agree to this, I would think the ACC could ask for more money. More marquee matchups = higher ratings = more $$$$
I would think that's the idea, but I'm not sure if it's enough to increase revenue and make Clemson, FSU, and Miami want to stay in the ACC.
I just read an article listing 4 teams from the Big ten that had negative revenue last year. 38 million at Ohio State. The other 3 were Michigan State, Rutgers, and UCLA.
If all the excess traveling is costing more than the additional revenue, it's not worth it to leave. There are a lot of different sports having to fly to and from all season along with the necessary equipment and support staff. That cannot be cheap. Not sure it's 38 million, but it is pricey.
