Didn't see him come back after the big hit he took to the leg. Does anyone have an injury update on him? Feel they will need him to have a shot in these next two games.

A couple of things I have noticed about EQ this season is that after a catch he usually takes himself out of the game and he also comes up slowly or appearing to be injured a lot. I hate to call out the toughness of a 19 year old but football is a physical sport and feel this kid needs to toughen up a bit.

Not only EQ ... but some of our taller DBs and WRs ... I kind of worry when they get hit below the waist, since their legs look awful skinny by comparison to the other players.

EQ seems plenty tough to me, doesn't go down easily, and he always fights for extra yards. Worrying about whether he might get hurt is one thing, but questioning his toughness is way off the mark in my opinion.

I don't question his toughness. But those skinny legs look kind of fragile to me. I could be wrong.

Longo is another staff member that as a mainstay, is a head-scratcher much in the same way as BVG.

Part of it is that he wears basically no pads in his pants. Very common with wideouts today. It amazes me that more knees don't get crushed by helmets.

He's not any skinnier than Randy Moss was in college. Some guys just take a while before they can bulk up their frame.

Boykin looks ripped. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up on the depth chart in the next couple of years. Plus Jones should be back in the mix to provide the big bodied target.

Does Boykin have hands issues? He just doesn't seem as adept at catching the ball as the other young guys do.

Either hands issues or he seems surprised when the ball is thrown his way (timing issues) -- like he doesn't get his head around quickly enough to track the ball well enough.

I heard he is good to go this Sat.

did Boykin play any D in H.S. ?

years ago, a lot of TE types were being converted into top LB'ers. If the kid has hand issues and is nasty then he is not out of possibilities.
