If son plays with the same heart as his dad demonstrated boxing, he will be a hard one to bring down.

TEL X---according to his coach and scouts he is a very tough runner who bounces off tacklerzs.

Loves contat---has exceptional vision---great balance and work ethic off the charts.

I really want a running back who loves contact. In fact I'ld be okay having one the coaches had to teach not to punish tacklers when more yards could be had.

35, sign him up. Work ethic off the charts is in his genes. Would love to have a powerful inside runner from this class.

35...... Great news as always... Love those TOUGH running backs. I don't visit here very often anymore, but I do check in to see if your are still here and staying on top of things. Keep at it.

By the way, I did see that Perse was heading your way for some sunshine , if you see him, tell him hello.

Go Irish, and keep on keeping. ( By the way, we have had )some cold weather , sleet and snow this paste couple of weeks, I may need to come to the sunshine state soon myself.

Coach, being one who enjoys golf … which is the better sunshine state for golf? AZ or FL? I've been to both places and seem to think that AZ has more variety. Though the northern part of AZ may still be too cold.

I would say Florida- I live in Vegas, played in AZ 4-5 places but just not a huge fan of desert courses. Growing up in Utah, really miss mountain/tree lined tracks.

A bad habit I never aquired, and now in my very senior years

I find myself living between the 1st green and the secind TEE.

On a clear day I can hear the swearing without my hearing aids being tuned uo.

I never knew alligators ate golf balls, amazing.

Basically I love all sports (a very few exceptions) , and long ago I figured that golf was one I could keep playing into my old age.

Wife and I have played in 24 states and Ireland. Hoping to play all 50 before we get too old. Try to get in 5 to 8 new states every year now. Regularly play in "deaf" golf tournaments all around the country (in the seniors bracket).

BOD--I have been called on occasionally to do a little routine that consists of

my favorite jokes gathered from far and wide ----too often nasty bartenders make me

"shut the hell up or get out". They insist I was driving paying customers away--what nonsense.

HERB---playing your way through America must be exciting. Which course is your all time favorite?

Yes PHJ INDY I imagine he does. Nothing I have read about him mentions it

but everyone talks about his toughness, his love of contact and his amazing work ethic.

When a coach offers a suggestion to help him improve he works like mad on it and

won't stop until the coach is satisfied. Someone once noted that apples don't fall

far from trees........at any rate ELIJAH and dad are very impressed with NOTRE DAME,

and the new coaching staff and are planning to be at JR DAY 3/21.

Thank you 35 for continuing to post on ND relevant information and the hard work that goes into putting this information together. Your posts, and a scant few others, that actually address ND football are the only ones I've bothered to read since seeing the direction to which this board has moved over the past few months.

NDlb46---Thanks for the nice words---I also hate

the bickering and name calling, but it sells hits on the board.

I have more and more trouble reading so I ignore as much of it

as possible it and try to stick with football at my beloved NOTRE DAME..

GO IRISH--SHAKE DOWN THAT THUNDER LADS !!!! 11-1 or better.

Dammit Captstabbin', you're ruining my day with your grounded-in-reality approach to this board. Can't you let us dream our little dream that the only worthwhile draw has returned???

For the briefest of moments, I was free of discussions concerning Religious ethos, peasants, complaints and monkey dongs.

Oh 35, wherefore art thou?

I have a golf question for you 35. When was the last time you saw a British Open round suspended before for high winds? I think that I felt Bobby Jones turn over in his grave last Friday.
Were you even watching early Saturday /late Friday? The conditions were impossible to play in. When the wind is blowing the golf balls away from where they were originally marked on the greens, it's time to stop.

What do you do when the ball won't stop moving on a green? They had no choice but to suspend play.
