Maybe - but if you go back to Florida State game; score was 38-3, fourth quarter, over 4 minutes left in game, Angeli is in for his first drive; 2nd and goal at the 7, he throws back shoulder to Colzie for touchdown. Here is what Blackledge said, "Well, nice job by Colzie setting up the route, and then the ball thrown to the outside perfectly by Angeli. I understand you have your back-up quarterback in -- want to give him some live action. I'm a little surprised you're throwing it as much as u were at this point. Florida state is a beaten team on that other sideline and seems like a little bit too much to me."
Eff that. If we run the ball up the middle four times and don't get it and then they go down and pull a Virginia to make the game look closer than it was calling a timeout with 2 seconds left down by 28 - people would be bitching about our style points and lack of killer instinct, blah, blah, blah and maybe rank us behind Penn State or who knows who else. I'm not saying you embarrass people (actually I do not mind pounding the Seminoles - a piece of me died in 1993), but get these guys their time. Give our back-ups the full playbook and hold them accountable to perform.
