The game was over, and Notre Dame was down to 1 time out.Nd didn’t even attempt to stop run at the end letting osu milk clock
The line got tired. The three and outs and short o drives cost them. The game plan on d was to rush four all night and drop into coverage with occasional blitzes. The fact is we didn't get enough pressure with 4 after halftime and then the got tired when the offense sputtered.Nd didn’t even attempt to stop run at the end letting osu milk clock
Lol, that is a reach, even for youNd didn’t even attempt to stop run at the end letting osu milk clock
There’s nothing they could do about it!Nd didn’t even attempt to stop run at the end letting osu milk clock
I don’t buy that… we can go 10 deep on DL, and 5-6 at lb… I didn’t see run blitzes or a lineup to stop run last seriesThe game was over, and Notre Dame was down to 1 time out.
Saying the defense made no attempt to stop the run in last 4 minutes is ludicrous. They were gassed.
I’m not saying entire game, just last drive… we were in base D needing to get ball back. I think we accepted loss with what 330 to go. We had a timeout too.Come on. I defend you all the time here, but this thread is nonsense. Let’s actually talk about the game.
You can go ten deep vs inferior talent. We rotated mostly 7 last night. And in the fourth we didn't rotate much at all. They got wore down.I don’t buy that… we can go 10 deep on DL, and 5-6 at lb… I didn’t see run blitzes or a lineup to stop run last series
it looked like we’ll let you run and try to stop it but our number one goal is to not let you score again.
I don’t mean it like that… I just think freeman kinda waved the white flag with 3:30 to goI'm sure the OP is absolutely correct. The manager of the ND endowment probably put up a $1 billion or so and took the points.
And I understood that. The game was over. Why give up an easy TD and further demoralize your team?I don’t mean it like that… I just think freeman kinda waved the white flag with 3:30 to go
