Give this a listen. Great stuff about Florida St. and Boston College from Kevin McDougal and Oscar McBride. It is a good 13 minutes if you have the time. However a key thing about the interview is McDougal talking about BC putting 9 guys in the box and Holtz trying to run through it. McDougal also talks about how he was a pass first guy, and we had the same offense that Florida St. had, but how Holtz was too scared to run it. When he finally did unleash McDougal in that 4th Quarter, McDougal said that was the most comfortable he had ever been and put up 3 quick touchdowns. McDougal said ND could have done that to every opponent that year.
