Man what I would do if we were able to get this guy.
Honestly though our offense is the PERFECT FIT for this guy. He could finally be that dynamic Z (slot) guy with the ability to catch screens, take jet sweeps, a few hand offs and extend the D vertically as a WR. Riddick while good, never really took off in this role and Prosise is good after the catch from short distance, is good as a RB but is not really a true downfield WR. Carlilse is ok but not a dynamic game breaker and Toma was fine in a complimentary role.
Robertson would be a Bilitenkoff candidate, All American type player here playing the Z. The perfect fit for this position in this offense. I see a little bit of Tate in 2009 mixed in with a little Floyd in 2011 and Fuller in 2014. No way he isnt picked in the first 3 rounds barring injuries if he comes to South Bend. We couldnt make a better slot candidate in a lab for our offense than Demetris Robertson. Hed be the perfect fit for the Z and with the size we have on the outside we really need the next wave of speed guys to replace Fuller and even Brown.
