Either that or WF just showed the world how to shred our defense. As you know this is a copy cat league so 7 days from now on prime time we'll see if this wake performance was our defense taking a game off or a legit exposing of our weakness. To be fair, Clawson does know Mike Elkos defense better than anyone so it does not surprise me they scored points on us. Regardless, the effort was horrible. Let’s hope this defense just had an off week. I have no doubts that the defense will play better against Miami.
Don't know why peeps are so mortified that some of us aren't gonna coddle the D. It was poor focus, according to the head man himself.Gotta love the overreactions by an obviously very fragile fan base. I guess the first 8 weeks have been erased from their memories.
So that's enough to claim the sky is falling ?Don't know why peeps are so mortified that some of us aren't gonna coddle the D. It was poor focus, according to the head man himself.
Who the hell said the sky is falling? If people were calling for the firing of Elko or that the season is over I'd get itSo that's enough to claim the sky is falling ?
my bad. wasn't specifically referring to this thread but lots of gloom and doom in some others. double digit victories no longer good enough for some.Who the hell said the sky is falling? If people were calling for the firing of Elko or that the season is over I'd get it

We'll see
Not sure BK and Elko would accept that reasoning as an excuse. You ever think that ND's defense was due for a let down at some point -- if only for a half? Once ND had the game in control, there just did not appear to be that sense of urgency -- but that was due at some point. Glad it happened last week.
The players are human. happens to every team. not an excuse but a reality. coaches know it full well too. its inevitable. Not sure BK and Elko would accept that reasoning as an excuse.
Coaches will never except something like that as an excuse or reason, but sometimes it is the reality. No team is 100% hitting on all cylinders every game. See Bama v Texas A&M.Not sure BK and Elko would accept that reasoning as an excuse.
