I just don,t see us beating OSU in a shootout ! I think that Urban will have his team well prepared and he will make whatever adjustments that he has to make as the game progresses. I still think that Kelly is a good coach, but, in my opinion, Urban is one of the top two coaches in college football today He has been on the big stage before and has been a consistent winner. Hope that Coach Kelly coaches the best game of his career tomorrow?
The keys to an ND victory will be solid defense , error free football, and not leaving any points once we get into the red zone.
If our defense doesn't show up, this game will get very ugly ! We will find out a lot about our team tomorrow. A win over Urban and OSU will propel ND and coach Kelly to the next level, bring in a really solid
recruiting class, and put us right in the top tier for the next few years.
Go Irish !

Our defense is worse than it was against Stanford, after losing more players, so I am not sure what you expect? If our front can stop the run we at least have a shot but our secondary is going to look ugly. We have to hope to get some fumbles or INT's, control the clock a little more, and maybe get a big special teams play. Their defense is much better as well, probably 5 1st round draft picks playing right now and the others aren't scrubs.

The defense didn't win anything for this team this year for a myriad if reasons. I would move for it to do so, but it won't happen most likely.

Notre Dame's offense was THIRD IN THE COUNTRY in offensive contribution to its winning margin on a play-by-play basis. Think about that . Only two teams' offenses contributed more to it's winning than Notre Dame's did.

Sorry but no....our red zone efficiency will win or lose this game.

We will put points up. Many. If we can play it like Stanford we have a chance because they can't throw like Hogan and Hogan isn't that good.

Honestly, I see ND's defense doing better with Farley playing over Redfield. Watkins in for Butler in for Russell may turn out well...seems ND's third string guys are coming through this year

I believe Notre Dames defense shuts tOSU down enough to win. And coch Kelly gets his first major Bowl victory ever!
Hope you're right but now with all that is going on, it's hard to imagine how this happens. Brutal series of events leading to this game. Unreal.

A lot is going on with both teams playing today I still like the Irish's chances, as a defensive abilities to stop them enough for the victory
