Okay folks, it's time once again to open the doors and set up shop for an adult beverage or two and some discussion regarding tomorrow's game. So, belly up to the bar.

You may notice I've done a few things with the old place. For instance, I had some new window treatments and got rid of the wallpaper that's been on the walls since 1974.Plus, the place got a good cleaning which was sorely needed.

I hope to see all my old Irish friends here over the course of the season with your usual requests, and perhaps a few new ones. I'm concerned, though, that Irish Alice may order something along the lines of a Bartles and Jaymes wine cooler. We don't serve those here.

I will open the festivities with a Pilsner Urquell, the original pils.

Hey hvillebill, I'm looking to pick up some extra work to make ends meet - can I work as a bus boy or dishwasher or take out the garbage? How about all three? I like what you've done with the place and just want to help out in any way I can. I noticed there are some mad dog bottles lying around and a few patrons that need some fresh air.
