Covid Shots

Just saw on tv that ND requires all students to vaccinated & booster shot to matriculate through school.

Any effects on recruiting? The bulk of the unvaccinated in NY are the black population. The leading reason is that they do not trust the shot. I’m posting this because a large percentage of ball players are black.
 
It’s disgusting. No one should have to be vaccinated for something without long term data on efficacy and health repercussions. It’s not dangerous for kids. There are lots of reports of adverse effects and reactions to the vaccine. While generally safe, it’s still bull shit to require it. I will not vaccinate my young children for Covid. If the schools makes them, I’ll find a new school.

But, what if a student died from COVID after contracting it there at the school? Then you would have parents filing a huge lawsuit. BTW, please show me the data that says kids don't die from it.

If you are one of those that still believes it's a harmless illness then you're simply close-minded. I've had two family members die and one more that was really close but pulled through.

In addition, Notre Dame isn't the only school that requires vaccinations. They all require vaccinations for other things, but apparently that's okay?

Obviously doesn't seem to. To go to college you must be up to date on all shots regardless.

If the school leadership decides that the medical evidence supports that the safety of students, faculty and staff is best served by requiring vaccinations then so be it. If a student doesn’t wan to follow the rule then they should transfer to a less strict school. Of course, exceptions for legitimate health and religious concerns should be honored. Whether the football team might lose a recruit over vaccinations should not be a concern when setting the rules.

People that don't believe Fauci (not to mention other doctors) can be sheep as well, listening to "experts" like Ted Freaking Nugent.

show me one doctor that is for it, I will show you one that is against it. Fauchi is a fricking political fraud, plain and simple. Let me guess you are one of those wearing a mask while driving alone in your car or wearing a mask in the open fresh air? Or just wearing one because you know Dr Fraudchi said so. What a sheep

You know nothing about me, just like I know nothing about you, so drop it. I only wear a mask where it is required, like my doctor's office.

As for "sheep", did you know that multiple vaccinations are required for college students, or did you not attend college? I guess they're all "sheep".

It’s transmissible whether you’ve gotten the shot or not. The point is the argument before, was to get the shot to prevent transmission. They are now admitting that is wrong.

So whether other students have the shot or not is irrelevant to you .

Facts. Both of my kids pediatricians said nah, I wouldn’t get my kids vaccinated for Covid when I asked for a non industry PC take that won’t leave this room. Both said they should get the flu shot though. Not required at ND.

Sir, everybody acknowledges the previous vaccination schedule. This vaccine is unlike (trials, proven efficacy and moving of goalposts as to what it can and cant do) the others required. Why do you and your kind continue to make a false comparison?

No kids is going to determine their future due to a covid shot. If they feel notre dame is the best fit for them, they will come here. If they dont, they wont. This is a silly topic. I bet the recruits dont even know this is a thing. Most probably have the shot already

I don’t trust it either. I had Delta. 11 days in the hospital. Another 4 weeks on oxygen. And didn’t feel physically fit until October of 21. Went in the hospital July 21. 9 days after first symptoms.
