St. Joseph (Mich.) High four-star junior defensive end Corey Malone-Hatcher has set a date to visit Notre Dame. The nation's No. 9 ranked strongside defensive end in the class of 2017, will be at Notre Dame for the Wake Forest game on Nov. 14, per his father.
The Irish continue to battle Michigan for the local product's services. The 6-3, 246-pound Malone-Hatcher was in Ann Arbor two weeks ago and has visited the Big 10 school three times since August. Irish defensive line coach Keith Gilmore is leading the charge for Notre Dame.
