Congratulations on a successful and inspiring season in 2015.

The Irish have overcome injuries, a strong schedule and a few mistakes to finish the regular season at 10-2 and are poised for a fine bowl game and a top ten finish.

No other team in America suffered through more injuries, yet with resilience, tremendous coaching and teamwork our guys persevered and continue to be a credit to their families, their fans and the University they represent.

With the guidance of Coach Kelly and the return of so many outstanding players things look even brighter in 2016!

Go Irish!

I'd like to agree, but it's been so long since 88', that I just can't see it that way. Our defense is that bad, so I really can't say that next year should be better. I don't typical like blaming coaches but BVG either has to change his defense to fit his personnel or he has to go. Inexcusable to continually get torched by missed assignments and big chunk plays. Like happens to us EVERY!!! game, no matter the opponent. Inexcusable to lose last nights game. Since my graduation, class of 79', and a fan since long before that, this is the first time in my life that I actually feel we will never win another national title.

I agreed mainly because the coaches, especially Kelly, did a great job this year getting us a 10-2 record and we had a shot at more which was unexpected with our injuries. I of course am not on your side when blaming BVG but honestly I don't care if we get rid of him because it won't matter when it comes to our defense, we didn't have the talent this year and have lacked talent for decades in the secondary. The problem with next season is the schedule is harder and we lose key players on defense, especially if Jaylon goes pro. On the other hand our offense will be improved and loaded with good players so I think we should be able to score more points and hopefully have a better running game, that would help our defense out.

Thats non-sense, Notre Dame two 2 point losses on the road to top 10 teams missing 10 starters and back up rb who had 1300 total yards from scrimmage. This is the best ND team since 1993 by far. No one wants to play this team with Prosise in the bowl game with a month to prepare. They are definitely a top 10 team. And they should be a pre-season top 5 going into next season.

ND is only getting better. They are surely a top ten team and will be only better in 2016. Let's all hope they can have better luck on the injury front next season and it could be very special.
