couldn't watch the second half last night because of getting up early this morning to do overtime at work and can say that I was pleasantly surprised to read this morning that brey's team came from behind to win. they looked really bad in the first against a Michigan team that seemed to want the win more. anybody know what changed in the second half for our irish besides probably playing better defense

Brey made some defensive adjustments to take away their 3-pointers. We went man-to-man. It definitely worked. Beachem made a couple of key shots down the stretch, and the whole team just played well.

I'm still awaiting your response to the question I've repeatedly posed to you about your realistic recommendations to improve the ND football program. Since you claim to have a better understanding of the program than an alum, why has there been only crickets when asked to list your realistic recommendations for improving the program? When I state realistic recommendations, surely, as someone who claims to know what ND is all about, you will suggest recommendations that accord with the University's mission and values. Thus far, there's only been crickets from you.

Farrell is the man running the 1 guard position. Pflueger can only play D. Farrell makes the offense click but should be assist man not a primary shooter. Brey has to get Torres and Burgett some time in the 1st half down low to bang the boards and take some fouls. Also, sit D. Jackson down for 3-5 minutes somewhere for some rest. We play way better when we go further on the bench. Strong legs in the final 5 minutes of a game make the difference.

I would beg to differ. Pflueger is an excellent outside shooter. I'm not a big Farrell fan and feel better with the ball in Jackson's hands.

Can be an excellent shooter because he has not shown anything so farthis year from the perimeter. Hs defense is solid and hopfully his offense improves.

with just an average wisc team upsetting a really good Xavier team I believe now that it is this irish teams destiny to make the final four after being just a couple of plays from getting there last year. all we need is for IU to upset UNC and our chances become really good because there is no way IU beats our irish squad twice this year. the game in December was handed to IU when our irish went cold shooting wise while having a huge lead. I only wish it was the toiletmakers from west Lafayette that our irish had a chance to face in the elite 8 final instead of the other Indiana school in IU
