These are the places and notable recruits I've confirmed Notre Dame's staff visited Thursday and Friday. This list is not necessarily comprehensive, but it gives us a good idea of which recruits the Irish are keeping on their radar.

The recruiting calendar is now in an evaluation period, which allows Notre Dame's assistant coaches "to be involved in off-campus activities designed to assess the academic qualifications and playing ability of prospective student-athletes. No in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts shall be made with the prospective student-athlete during an evaluation period."

That means in-person conversations of any substantial length are outlawed. ND's coaches will check in with folks at the school and then try to get out on the phone with the recruit later in the day. Head coaches are not allowed to make visits during the spring evaluation period.

Reminder: Target = offer. Prospect = no offer.

Head coach Marcus Freeman and safeties coach Chris O'Leary were at the NFL Draft to support and celebrate with safety Kyle Hamilton. O'Leary didn't make any recruiting stops, but it's a pretty good opportunity to remind recruits they were at the draft. By keeping O'Leary after the recruiting trail, director of recruiting Chad Bowden was able to make some trips in his place.
