Butler lining up 4 yards off the outside WR, then shuffling back another 3 yards right before the ball is snapped, a LB or Safety plays Zone and covers the Flat and Butler just doesn't let the WR get to his depth, much like a FS would play it ? What about Butler blitzing and Russell angles out and tries to intercept the Slant route ? Butler blitzing would really bait the QB and WR into quickly throwing a Slant on a sight adjustment or option as part of an option route ? Your thoughts ?
