Does a defense playing man on the offense's best WR and Zone with all the rest of the defenders give QB's trouble in getting them suckered into thinking it is man coverage across the board and cause the QB to make throws leading the WR that are easily picked off ? I understand that a very good QB probably wouldn't fall prey to this often, but lets say an average QB who hasn't had a lot of game experience ?

Also, watching the SEC media days, DT McFarland and DE Marcus Spears were commentators for the ESPN coverage along with a few other media guys, and they said that Alabama's defense is geared to stopping the run in between the tackles and they want you to run there and try to force everything between the tackles. They said when teams can get outside and run towards the sidelines, that is what gives Bama's defense problems. Ohio State ran well on Bama in last year's playoff game and Ohio State's OL Coach Ed Warriner likes a more mobile OL and our guy likes a more massive OL. My question is, theoretically, would Heistand's preferred OL type along with preferred scheme work less well against Bama than Ohio State's ?
