up 28-0 at Miami mid way through the 2nd qtr. Either they are pretty darn good, Miami is just terrible, possibly a combo of the 2. I cant see the Al Golden tenure lasting much longer. They may lose by 50 at home.

I once met a man who jumped on a cactus. When I asked him why he did it, he said that it sounded like a good idea at the time. Miami is Al Golden's cactus. He's a good coach. Miami is, well, Miami.

good god, does Golden get his pink slip in the locker room at half? 42-0 at the half. Also the announcers are sucking off Clemson saying they are the most dominant team they've seen on film and in person all year. To which i thought, had we been able to catch some passes we would've won at there place.

maybe Mia players stink? halftime 42-0 seems like a combo staf/team white flag! Miami! da U !

good. I hope they keep pumping up Clemson. quality of losses will be a factor.

I agree with haltime guys in the studio in saying that former canes players need to stop talkining about how bad the facilties and other things with the program are and start helping to make things better

Miami needs to pay Pete Carroll 10 million per year. His bad boy persona and nasty defense would be a perfect fit. The stands are almost completely empty. What a joke.

Remember when Epic Fella was saying Miami was as good as Florida State? Lol that dude.
He also said that Skip Holtz was the best coach in Florida and would have USF in the big three. That Christ was the 2nd best QB in the country behind only Luck and a shoe in for NY. That Golson was a top 5 QB his first year and Heisman possibility. That Charlie was a top five coach.

Don't get me started. If I started listing right now non stop I couldn't type all the crazy nonsense Argus has graced this board with by ND's next kickoff.

If I was building a team I'd take Christ as my first pick.

I just read on another board that Clemson scored more points than Miami had fans in the stands. Golden is a good guy but needs to go. Not a good fit. It would be like Jimmy Johnson coaching at Navy or BYU or even ND.

I keep hearing that and don't get it. To believe that you've got to ignore running a prevent defense for the entire 4th quarter and the coaches saying the offense went conservative to protect the ball in the rain. On a dry field Clemson could just as easily have opened up the offense.

Y'all have a great team, no doubt and everybody who watched the game saw that. I just wouldn't write off the Clemson win to the rain so quickly. We had to play in it too.

The Miami players quit on themselves. To me, regardless of their view of Golden, they are the bigger problem. A player who quits should not be allowed to suit up again.

I get your point and I won't disagree with it. Who truly knows what would have happened on a dry field? I'd still put my money on us doing much better and coming out of there with a win but who knows? What I'd like to point out, however, is you Clemson fans keep saying "we had to play in the bad weather too." Of course that is completely true and you deserve credit for handling the bad weather better than us but that doesn't change the fact that the weather had a negative impact on our performance. Your defenders were taking swipes at the ball, and thus deserve a lot of the credit for some of the turnovers, but I think the wet ball and wet hands and arms factored in just as much, so I really don't think we would have fumbled the ball 3 times if the field was dry and if you take away two of those fumbles I think we would have won. But of course we'll never know for sure.

That's fair. Not going to lie, after the game I felt lucky to come away with it. On a side note your fans who came down represented y'all very well. Everybody I talked to was great.

That's good to hear and I'll add that the vast majority of Clemson fans who have commented on this board have been extremely respectful and fair. Good luck to you the rest of the season. I'd love to see us both in the CFB playoff and have a chance at a rematch.

I attended the ND-Clemson a few weeks back, and the Clemson fans I encountered were very hospitable and gracious. Really nice people. Loved the Esso Club.
